What to Check Before Booking a Desert Tour
Know which desert you are visiting. Erg Chebbi near Merzouga is a long road journey from Marrakech and Fes. Agafay, near Marrakech, is a separate rocky desert experience and does not replace a Sahara dune stay.
Understand the driving. Short Sahara itineraries include long days on the road. We include rest stops and avoid night driving on desert legs. Choose more nights if you prefer a gentler pace.
Choose your camp facilities. Ask about private bathrooms, bedding, seasonal heating or cooling arrangements and camp access. Facilities differ, so your proposal names the camp and confirms the tent category.
Choose your activities. Camel rides and 4×4 excursions are included only as listed in the selected itinerary. Ask about alternative camp transfers, optional ATV rides and extra desert nights. Activities depend on conditions and availability.

No. You travel in a private vehicle with your own party and dedicated driver. Other guests may stay at the same hotel or desert camp.
Can we travel from Fes to Marrakech through the Sahara?
Yes. Our existing three-day itinerary connects the cities through Merzouga and Dades Valley. Review the driving times and consider extra nights for a slower journey.
Is Agafay the same as the Sahara?
No. Agafay is near Marrakech and offers a rocky desert setting. Sahara dune tours to Erg Chebbi near Merzouga require a much longer journey.
Do we have to ride a camel?
No. Tell us before booking if you prefer an alternative camp transfer. We confirm availability, access and any additional cost.
What is included in the price?
