This tour lasts 3 days and 2 nights. Your vehicle and driver are reserved for your party. We can adjust stops and accommodation before booking. The route includes long driving days; we recommend arriving in Fes the day before and spending the final night in Marrakech. Hotel nights in Fes and Marrakech are not included.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Fes to Merzouga via the Middle Atlas
Leave your hotel or riad in Fes early and travel through Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou. If Barbary macaques are nearby, watch them from a distance without feeding them. Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley, with breaks for lunch and viewpoints. Reach Merzouga and take a camel ride towards your camp, with sunset views when conditions allow. Enjoy dinner and settle into your tent with a private bathroom. A 4×4 transfer can be arranged if you prefer not to ride a camel.

Day 2: Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todra Gorge
Wake early if you would like to see sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, leave the Sahara and travel through Rissani towards Tinghir. A market stop can be arranged when the market is active. Walk through Todra Gorge and enjoy a lunch break before continuing to Dades Valley. Settle into your hotel or riad and enjoy dinner.

Day 3: Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou
After breakfast, travel through the Valley of Roses and Skoura towards Ouarzazate. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou and explore its earthen lanes and viewpoints. Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping for breaks along the way, then finish at your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Film studios or extra kasbah visits can be considered if time allows; this is already a full travel day. Accommodation in Marrakech is not included.
