Tour Overview
Travel privately from Marrakech to Casablanca over eight days and seven nights. Explore Marrakech with a local guide, cross the High Atlas to Ait Ben Haddou and Dades Valley, then continue through Todra Gorge to a Sahara camp in Merzouga. Travel north through the Middle Atlas for two nights in Fes, followed by Volubilis, Meknes and Rabat on the way to Casablanca. Accommodation follows your chosen package. We can revise the finishing city before booking; a Fes departure can allow an extra Sahara night in a customized route.

Tour Itinerary
Welcome to Morocco. Your driver will meet you at Marrakech airport and take you to your hotel or riad. Settle in and rest after your flight. If your arrival time allows, enjoy a short introduction to the city before your guided visit tomorrow.
Explore Marrakech with your local guide. See the Koutoubia Mosque from outside, then visit Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, subject to opening hours. The palace shows the work of Moroccan artisans, while the tombs belong to the dynasty that ruled Marrakech in the 16th century. Walk through the medina’s workshops and souks and finish around Jemaa el-Fna square. Keep the afternoon flexible rather than rushing through too many sights. Majorelle Garden can be arranged separately with advance reservations.
Leave Marrakech after breakfast and cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Stop for mountain views and breaks before visiting Ait Ben Haddou, the fortified earthen village on an old caravan route. Continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to Dades Valley, where dinner and your overnight stay await. A film-studio visit can be arranged if time allows.
After breakfast, travel to Tinghir and walk through Todra Gorge, where high limestone cliffs rise above the river. Continue towards Merzouga, with breaks for lunch and photographs. In the late afternoon, take a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes and enjoy sunset when conditions allow. Settle into your desert camp and enjoy dinner. A 4×4 transfer is available if you prefer not to ride a camel.
Wake early if you would like to see sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel through Erfoud and the Ziz Valley towards Midelt. Cross the Middle Atlas, with breaks near the cedar forests and Ifrane when time allows. Arrive in Fes and settle into your accommodation. This is a long travel day, with regular stops for lunch, refreshments and photographs.
Explore Fes with your local guide. Walk through Fes el Bali, where workshops, markets and neighbourhood fountains still shape daily life. Visit a historic madrasa when open, see Nejjarine square and its fountain, and stop at a tannery viewpoint. View Al Quaraouiyine from the permitted public areas. Later, see the Royal Palace gates and the Mellah, the historic Jewish quarter. Your guide will adjust the route to opening hours, your interests and your walking pace.
Leave Fes after breakfast and explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis with a local guide. Continue through Meknes and Rabat before arriving in Casablanca for your final night. The route includes a full day of travel and sightseeing, so visits will be adjusted to opening hours, traffic and your pace. Your driver will plan breaks for lunch and refreshments along the way.
Enjoy breakfast and any free time your flight schedule allows before your private transfer to Casablanca airport. Your driver will confirm pickup around your departure time, allowing for traffic and airport check-in. Breakfast availability before an early transfer depends on your hotel’s breakfast hours. If you prefer to depart from another airport, tell us before booking so we can revise the final arrangements.

Send us your travel dates, the number of travelers and your preferred package. We’ll confirm the route, accommodation and final price with you. A 25% deposit secures your booking, and we explain the balance payment options before you confirm.
The deposit is non-refundable. If an emergency stops you from travelling, you can use it for a future trip within two years. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can explain the arrangements and any hotel cancellation conditions that apply to your booking.

The longest drives are on Day 5 (Merzouga to Fes through the Middle Atlas): about 7–8 hours, plus stops and breaks; and Day 3 (Marrakech to Dades via Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate): about 6–7 hours of driving, plus visits and breaks. We leave early and stop regularly for meals, photos and rest. Times vary with traffic, weather and how long you stop along the way.
Most walking happens on the guided visits, including the short walk into Todra Gorge, the Fes medina, the Marrakech medina and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Expect uneven streets, slopes and some steps. Tell us about any mobility needs before booking and we’ll adjust the pace and visits. Comfortable shoes help.
Yes. Every camp we use has tents with private bathrooms. In the Comfort package the tents don’t have air conditioning, while the Luxury, Premium Luxury and VIP All-Inclusive packages include air-conditioned tents. We confirm the exact camp and tent category for your chosen package before booking.
Yes. Tell us before your trip if you’d prefer a 4x4 transfer to camp, and we’ll confirm the arrangements and any price difference in your proposal. The camel ride can also be shortened to suit your comfort and local conditions.
This tour finishes in Casablanca, with a transfer to Mohammed V Airport. If you’d rather fly home from Marrakech or Fes, tell us before booking so we can adjust the final night and transfer.
The tour includes seven breakfasts and two dinners. Other meals are at your own expense unless your package includes more.
