Your route & stays
Begin with a night in Tangier after your ferry or flight arrival, then travel via Tetouan to Chefchaouen. Enjoy two nights in the Blue City and continue through Volubilis and Meknes to Fes. Cross the Middle Atlas and Ziz Valley to Merzouga for a hotel night, a full desert day and a night at a selected camp. Continue through Todra Gorge and Dades Valley, then visit Ait Ben Haddou and cross the High Atlas to Marrakech. The final days include guided Marrakech sightseeing and an Imlil village walk with lunch. Your 11 nights are Tangier 1, Chefchaouen 2, Fes 2, Merzouga 2, Dades 1 and Marrakech 3. Marrakech departure is recommended; another finishing airport can be arranged by adjusting the final stay and transfer.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your private driver welcomes you at Tangier airport or the agreed ferry port and takes you to your accommodation. Settle in and relax after your journey. If arrival time permits, enjoy a first visit to the medina and Kasbah. Any remaining Tangier sightseeing can be arranged before departure the next morning.
After breakfast, complete any agreed Tangier visits that fit the schedule, then travel through Tetouan toward Chefchaouen. Take a short walk in Tetouan’s medina before continuing through the Rif Mountains. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy the blue lanes of Chefchaouen at your own pace. Sightseeing stops are planned around your interests and opening hours.
Explore Chefchaouen with a local guide, walking through blue-painted lanes, small squares and craft shops. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon for photographs, cafes or your own discoveries. If you wish, walk to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint near sunset. An optional Akchour excursion can replace part of the free time and needs to be arranged in advance.
Leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and travel to Volubilis for a visit with a licensed local guide. Continue to Meknes to discover its imperial heritage and pause for lunch. Drive onward to Fes and settle into your riad. Monument access and the length of stops are adjusted to opening hours, restoration work and your pace.
Discover Fes with your licensed local guide, from the medina’s artisan workshops and markets to historic madrasas and quiet squares. Visit a tannery viewpoint, see the Royal Palace gates and explore the Mellah. Your guide will adapt the walking route to your interests and the places open that day. Entry to individual monuments follows your confirmed package.
Your private driver meets you at your accommodation in Fes for an early departure. Travel through Ifrane and the Middle Atlas, stopping near the cedar forest when conditions allow. Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley, with time for lunch and scenic breaks. Arrive in Merzouga beside the Erg Chebbi dunes and settle into your hotel for dinner.
Explore the Merzouga area with a local 4×4 driver. Visit Khamlia to discover Gnawa music, meet local families when visits are available and learn about life on the edge of the desert. Enjoy the included local lunch, then return for a rest before your camel ride among the dunes. A 4×4 camp transfer can be arranged instead. Spend the night in a selected desert camp with a private bathroom, dinner and an evening under the stars.
Wake early if you wish to watch sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, leave the Sahara and travel through the Rissani area toward Tinghir. Visit Todra Gorge for a walk beneath its high rock walls, then continue to the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and a restful evening at your accommodation.
Travel through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura area toward Ouarzazate. Visit the historic earthen ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka with scenic breaks. Arrive in Marrakech and settle into your accommodation for the evening.

Enjoy an included local lunch before returning to Marrakech. Bring comfortable shoes and layers, and allow the guide to adjust the walk to the weather and your comfort.
