Tour Overview
This is the shortest sensible way to see the desert from Agadir. Your driver picks you up at your Agadir hotel or at Al Massira airport and heads inland through the Souss Valley to Taroudant, a walled market town about an hour and a quarter away, for a walk and a coffee. The road then climbs over the Anti-Atlas through Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron town, to Ait Ben Haddou for the first night. Day two follows the palm groves of the Draa Valley down to Zagora, where you ride a camel to a desert camp. Day three brings you back north through Ouarzazate and the oasis of Skoura to Dades Valley, and on day four you cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass to Marrakech.
