Tour Overview
A week for travelers who want Morocco’s Jewish story first and the classic sights second. Start in Casablanca, home to most of the country’s remaining Jewish community and to the Museum of Moroccan Judaism. Walk the Rabat mellah, stop at the restored Jewish cemetery of Meknes, then spend three nights in Fes for the oldest mellah in Morocco, the Ibn Danan Synagogue and a half-day in Sefrou, once called the little Jerusalem of Morocco. No day has more than about three and a half hours on the road, and the vehicle and driver are yours alone.
Your 7-Day Jewish Heritage Route
Your tour starts in Casablanca and finishes at Fes or Casablanca airport, with six nights:
- 2 nights in Casablanca
- 1 night in Rabat
- 3 nights in Fes
Tell us before we quote if you keep kosher or Shabbat. Casablanca has the widest kosher choice in Morocco; in Rabat and Fes we arrange meals in advance with a supervised caterer, and we can reorder the days so that no driving falls on Shabbat. Our guide to kosher food in Morocco explains how it works.
Choose Comfort, Luxury, Premium Luxury or VIP All-Inclusive. Request your private tour quote with your dates, party size and any religious requirements. Want Marrakech and Essaouira as well? See the 10- and 13-day routes on our Morocco Jewish tours page.
